Managing Director and Country Manager UK, Pfizer

Patients First are not just words for me, it is something I expect personally and professionally.  My eldest son lives with a rare epilepsy, so I am acutely aware of the value that innovative medicines bring to patients and I see and experience our NHS services on a weekly basis.  I share this because over the years I have translated this into a passion to drive access to innovative medicines/vaccines and help lead change within the UK healthcare system.

Throughout my career at Pfizer I have been fortunate enough to work across a wide range of disease areas from the very rarest to the most common in society.

In 2012, I became the UK Head of Pfizer Oncology where I was heavily involved in shaping UK cancer policy through partnering with Government, NHS, PAGs and as a co-chair of ABPI Oncology group. I also sat on the ‘NHS Molecular Diagnostics in Cancer working group’ and the South London AHSN as the ABPI representative.  In April 2015, I moved to an International role as Chief Marketing Officer, across Europe, Japan, Korea, ANZ.

In December 2018, I was appointed UK Country Manager and Managing Director for Pfizer UK.

Since taking up this new role, I have quickly sought to actively engage externally with leaders in NHS and government to shape a greater industry, Government and NHS collaboration to meet the health and economic challenges faced by the UK.
