Alex is Head of NHS and Social Care Cyber Risk in the DHSC/NHSE Joint Cyber Unit, which includes overseeing the unit’s activity around setting cyber standards such as the DSPT, understanding the cyber risk to health and care, and ensuring proportionate national, regional, and local interventions to manage this risk occur appropriately. Alex has worked in government and public sector cyber security for seven years, having previously worked in education and legal service cyber security.
